Scientific American: Science, Quickly Fascination Series
This four-part series offers a deep dive into the many things I’ve learned along my journey as an animal scientist-turned-storyteller. For this freelance project, I researched, interviewed, and wrote each script and then worked extensively with the editorial, fact-checking, and production teams at Scientific American.
Maven’s Notebook: Science in Short
I contributed to this quarterly series as a freelance journalist. For each episode, I interviewed, scripted, narrated, and produced each episode that features a local expert about various water-related issues in Northern California.
Department of Energy: Direct Current
The DOE Office of Science is the single largest funder for basic research in the United States. While working with their Communications team, I collaborated with their multimedia team to help interview and write the scripts for their ongoing podcast called Direct Current.
Scientific American: Science, Quickly
I contribute quirky, animal-related episodes to this wide-spanning podcast that brings science to the ears of a general audience. Working with this talented multimedia team, I generally pitch a story idea, write and record the script, and produce each full-length episode.
